McCarthy & Stone – What to Expect in Your First Month

MONTH 1 PROBATION REVIEW

At the end of your first month at McCarthy & Stone you will be having a 1-2-1

meeting with your line manager either face-to-face, via telephone or Skype. This
meeting is an opportunity for both parties to review how your first month has

been, what you have learned so far, and to agree your objectives for the next

couple of months.

MONTH 1 EMPLOYEE CHECKLIST

During your first month there are some activities and tasks to complete to get you

started in your new role. There is an interactive checklist hosted on iLearn which

tracks the completion of these tasks and activities. It is up to you whether you
complete this checklist as tasks are being completed or complete the checklist at

the end of the month, but we do require that you log on and complete the month 1

induction checklist. This checklist will give you an overview of the month 1

requirements and if there are any gaps you can talk to your line manager about
them in your month 1 probation review.
