McCarthy & Stone – What to Expect in Your First Week

WEEK 1 REVIEW WITH LINE MANAGER

At the end of your first week at McCarthy & Stone you will be having a 1-2-1

meeting with your line manager either face-to-face, via telephone or Skype. This
meeting is an opportunity to review how your first week has been, what you have

learned so far, what your best experiences have been. If you have had any issues

within your first week, please do bring them up to your line manager during this
review so that those issues can be addressed.

WEEK 1 INDUCTION CHECKLIST

During your first week there are some activities and tasks to complete to get you up

to speed such as a tour of your workplace, eLearning and learning the fire

procedure. There is an interactive checklist hosted on iLearn which tracks the
completion of these tasks and activities. It is up to you whether you complete this

checklist as tasks are being completed or complete the checklist at the end of the

week. However you choose to complete it, it is important you logon and do so by

the end of your first week. If there are any gaps you can talk to your line manager
about them in your week 1 review.
